Physical vapor deposition (PVD) has many advantages, such as wide application of matrix materials and film materials, simple process, material saving and pollution-free, strong adhesion, uniform film thickness, compactness and fewer pinholes.

11. Powder Spraying

Powder spraying is to spray powder coatings onto the surface of workpieces by powder spraying equipment (electrostatic spraying machine). Under the action of electrostatic force, powder will evenly adsorb on the surface of workpieces and form powder coatings. Powder coatings are cured levelly at high temperature and become final coatings with different effects. The spraying effect of powder spraying is in the aspects of mechanical strength, adhesion, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. It is superior to the spraying process, and the cost is also under the same effect of spraying.
